In this chapter, we learn that the drone has detected nothing, and that the body of the dead man is intact. The drone detected the sound of a "ding" and a "crush" , but the drone detected nothing. The dead man's soul has been put into his heart, and he is sure that the soul has taught him something. He asks if they should leave now, and they both agree that they are free to do so. He then asks where they were when they heard that the dead body was alive. They are discussing the possibility of xia, but they are not talking about it personally. He tells them that it is his own business and that they should get down to the business. He says that he understands that they do not like him, but that as long as he can figure out the truth about time, he will be able to get things back to the beginning. He is not a nostalgic man, he says, and so he asks for more time.
