In this chapter, we learn that the robot is a member of the "Knights of Hell" and that he has come to "fish in troubled waters" once again. The robot, however, is not interested in fishing; he wants to have a "fair and dignified one-on-one before that happens" . He is ashamed of his earlier remarks, but he is determined to have an "unbeatable one" before he is defeated. He says that the "spirit of the knights" is to return hospitality to those who are in need, and he will leave the robot in the "bamboo hat" to him. He then asks the robot how many spots there are on the "sika deer" , and the robot replies that there are 47, but then he realizes that there is only one spot on the deer. He realizes that if he cannot answer the question correctly, he will be "turned into a rock, an adventure, and paradise"
