About This Chapter
A few hours later, a toast is made to "urban" and "shouting" to "what was her name" . The toast is to "Yang ni" , who is in a "state of mental shutdown" and who is still in love with "white hair." She asks him to help her out, but he refuses, saying that he has already left the "netherworld wharf" and that the people from the wharf are in possession of "something that shouldnt belong" to them. He promises to "come clean about everything" when "the time is right." He is interrupted by patter, who tells him that he is a traitor and that he should not be disturbed by the other customers having dinner. He tells them to "go to hell," and they respond by beating him up. When the toast is over, the two men run off to find their way home.
