An Adventure in Paradise

In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named "Mandongzuo" . He is a young man who has just arrived in paradise. He and his friend, "Pater," are on their way to a nearby town when they run into each other. The two men are discussing the recent events in their respective countries. They have just returned from a trip to China, where they had been sent by the Governess. The Governess has sent a message to the two men, asking them to meet her at the market place. When they arrive, they are greeted by the sound of a door slamming shut. They are told that they are trapped in the town because of a breach in the wall, and that they will have to fight the monsters in order to escape.
