Lin tells him not to take them there again, because she is absorbed in her work. Lin asks if he is in there, and Luo replies that he is, and Lin asks him to knock on the door. Lin tries to cheer him up, but he is depressed. He asks if she is depressed because of him, and she replies that she is, because of the documents he needs to go over. Lin says that he will take leave of her, and he promises to repay her kindness. Lin then asks what is more important, his work or his love. Lin replies that his work is important, but that his love for her is. Lin agrees to stay with him that night, and asks him if he would like to go out for a walk tomorrow. Lin responds that he would rather go out than work, because work is only a part of his life. Lin bombards him with messages, telling him to relax and have fun with her tomorrow. He says that she needs to take a break from her work so that she can enjoy herself. She responds quickly, saying that she will take a day off tomorrow, but she has many other things to do. Lin is amazed at how quickly she responds to her messages, and wonders if she cares about anyone. He then asks her if she wants to buy new shoes and bags for herself and her friends, and if she would care about anyone else. She replies that her only concern is that she would buy some new shoes. Lin thinks that she has done a great job, and is amazed by her beauty.
