In this chapter, we learn that the protagonist is a single woman who works for a design company. She is introduced to the protagonist's boss, a "shy" and "bloody" man named Luo. Luo is a boss who "bosses" his employees around and scolds them at every turn. The protagonist is shocked to learn that Luo has a young and beautiful girlfriend whom he does not approve of. He tells Luo to help him pick out a new bag for his girlfriend. When Luo does not help him, the protagonist exclaims that he is the one buying the bag and that he has the right to choose the one he likes.
