Mint Couple

The narrator tells us that he and Luo have been friends since the beginning of the novel. He tells us how he became friends with Luo and how they spent every day playing with each other. One day, however, they finally won the lottery. The narrator is so sleepy that he plans to go home and sleep. When he wakes up, he wonders if the keys to the house belong to Luo. He realizes that he has caught up to him, but he can't remember everything he saw that day. The only thing he remembers is that the girl was walking across the road with a bright color. Suddenly, a truck zooms by, but Luo rushes over without hesitation. The whole scene seems to freeze, but one man breaks it up by lighting a dazzling light. The next second, a miracle happens. Luo disappears. The girl is pushed to the side of the street and faints. She is still breathing. She has gone to the hospital. When the narrator returns to the scene, he finds that she has already been taken there. He wonders why he left the key on the table when he saw Luo so panicked. He also realizes that Luo wants to keep the secret of what happened before. He decides to go back home to sleep.
