The gang tries to convince the boy to stay, but he refuses, saying that his leg is trapped in the mud. The rescue team tells him that the area has been declared a no-man's-land, so they'll take him to safety. They also tell him that he has been bitten by a snake, and that he needs to go with the gang. He refuses to leave the gang, and they all kiss him goodbye.
