In this chapter, we are introduced to a number of new characters, including a rat, a bat, a tree, a lamppost, and a pane of glass. We are also introduced to some of the characters who have been introduced in the previous chapters, such as Lucentis, who is now a member of the Musketeers. We learn that he is very fond of the rat, the bat, the tree, and the lamppost. He is also fond of his hair, which he describes as "long or short" . We also learn that this is the first time we have heard of the word "war" in this chapter.
