In this chapter, we find out that the girl we thought was dead is actually alive. We learn that she's been hit by a young woman, and that the young woman's name is Jessica. We also learn that Jessica's father, Tom, and her uncle, Alphonse, have been trying to find her, but they haven't been able to. Jessica is devastated by the news of her father's death, and she begs them to help her. She also asks them to take revenge on her father, who she says has burned her love.
