The next morning, the Governess comes to her grandmother's house and apologizes for her behavior. She tells her grandmother that she has fallen in love with her brother again, and that she wants to marry him. The Governess asks her grandmother if she can marry him, and she tells her that she can, but only if he tells her what he wants to hear.
