The next morning, the sisters go to visit the grandson's grandmother, who lives with her husband's family. The sisters are surprised to find that the grandson is calling them "sisters" instead of "brothers" . They also find out that the grandfather's wife is expecting a baby girl, and that the granddaughter will have to get married to a man before she can have a child of her own.
