About This Chapter
The narrator is on his way home from work when he runs into the servant who works for him. The servant tells him that he's the only one who's been working overtime. The narrator asks the servant if he'd like to see the secret document that he has in his possession, but the servant says that he can't share it with anyone. The man tells the narrator that he and his wife have an agreement, but that it's too late for them to work on it. He tells the servant that he still has a pile of documents that he hasn't finished, and he'll give him some of the finished documents tomorrow when he gets home. The girl tells the man that she's sorry to bother him, but she just had to serve her little brother back. The big brother tells the girl that she looks like she caused trouble for her second brother when she was away, and the girl says that she didn't realize that the big brother was bullying her. The little girl tells her that she doesn't care that there's no relationship between her and her brother, and that she wants to keep her company forever. She tells the little girl that her cake is super tasty, and she'll get more for her the next time she eats it.
