In this chapter, Henry explains that he has saved a ton of time by organizing a bidding competition for his company. He says that he is very picky about what he wants in a proposal, so he has to work very hard to make sure that the proposal is good. He also says that the cream on his lips is not as good as it was when he was a kid. He tells her that he wants to go to a party on a ship this weekend, and he asks her if she wants to hang out with the family forever. She says that she doesn't, but she does want to have a good time. He then tells her about lanawang, who has just quit her job. She has been having an affair with a married guy, and her wife caught her and her lover on the spot. Henry says he wishes he could have seen it with his own eyes.
