The next morning, Esther wakes up to find that she's slept well. She's a little worried about what she'll do if she wakes up in the middle of the night, but she doesn't have to worry about it. She can't believe that the pervert is sleeping next to her, and she wonders why he's still holding her heirloom. Esther's assistant, Shmoop, tells her that there's an invitation for her to a party at the home of the eldest daughter of the wealthy yan family. She has to get there by public transportation, which is inconvenient, since the nearest public bus stop is only 50 miles away. She asks the assistant to take her to the party in a private car, which the yans have prepared for her.
