This is the first scene of the second half of the play. It is set in a village in the south of the kingdom of Pancavadhi. It begins with a group of men, led by kaladhar, killing the yaksha. They are followed by two other men, who are also members of the royal family. The men tell the villagers that they are on their way to kill all of the kosala in the land of the Ayodya. They ask the villagers to come with them to the capital and help them kill the two men.
