Back at the bakery, the owner of the shop explains that he's using his own body to clean up after his customers. He's glad that they aren't buying the cakes, but he'd like to take a page from Edgar Allan Poe's book, "The Secret Garden" . He tells the baker that his business is having some problems because his real estate business was busted in Venice. The baker says he'll have to bring in some fancy ingredients to make the cakes look fancy, but that's fine. The bakery owner says that she's pleased that the customers like the cakes. She says that every day she puts her "heart and soul" into the kneading of the dough for the cakes to make sure that they're edible. Finally, the bakery owner announces that his customers are leaving, and the baker takes an eclair with him to pick them up. He says that he has been suspicious of the baker all along, because the bakery doesn't use a sanitary cleaning technique. He also says that the baker's words gave him away, because he said that he put his heart and soul "into kneading the dough" for these cakes. This is the bakery's second location, the baker says, and he runs it just like a hobby. The owner of his second location is under arrest for trying to murder the head of a real estate company.
