In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, the "avatar" . The "avatar," as he's also called, is a creature that has been created by the gods of the underworld to destroy the city of Ulsanagi. The city is under attack by a giant life form, and the city's citizens have been ordered to flee the city. The avatar, however, is able to protect the city from the monster, and he and the other "avatars" are able to stop the monster's progress.
