In this chapter, the masked thief returns to the scene of the previous chapter's events. He is still waiting for his master, who is waiting for him in the control room. When he arrives, he is surprised to find that the magic system has gone down, and that the painting that he had taken from the angel has disappeared. He then realizes that he has captured the real master and is ready to use the trans-formation magic to take him back to the beginning of the scene. He also realizes that the other master has split up with him, and he will use this one to take back the painting. The two men exit the room, and the thief tells them to put the fire out and wait for the master to return.
