The shop owner introduces himself as Mr. Natsu and welcomes the protagonist to the shop. He explains that he has been dreaming of running the shop since he heard that it was popular with young women. He offers to take the protagonist on a tour of the shop and introduces him to some of the items on the menu. The protagonist is eager to try his hand at making coffee himself, but the shop owner assures him that he will be able to do so using instant coffee. When the protagonist accidentally drops his hand on the counter, the shopkeeper apologizes profusely and cleans up the mess with a mop.
