It's been a while since Hirokazu's last visit, and now that he's back in Japan, he'll have to spend more time with his mom. He's changed a lot, but he'd rather spend his time with the people around him than with his mother, who's still nursing him back to health. We're guessing that's because she's so sick of him, right? Anyway, Hiroki's not jealous of his mom's newfound independence, and he says that he can't wait to get back to his normal routine of working for his mom and his friends. He also says that his mom has told him that he won't have to push himself too hard to make it back to school.
