About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a discussion between the two women about whether or not they should call off the "Bunny Thing" . The first woman says that she feels lonely because she's never had a sexual experience with a man before. The second woman responds that she doesn't care if the kiss was "normal" or "intimate" , and that she'd rather be "my bunny" than "your bunny." The two women continue to argue, and the first woman finally tells the second woman that she can't be in her way. The broth is cooking, and she asks if she'll be a "chef" or a "bride." The woman replies that she wants to be "a bride a bride." She's not sure what that means, but she does know that it's a "pretty boring dream," and that the man who kissed her "comlimented" her about it. The woman then asks if the man she bought is her "dear husband," and the man replies that he's "not my dear husband." The women argue again, and this time, the woman says, "I'm not crying or begging, I was just crying or crying." She then asks the woman to come grab food with her, but the woman refuses, saying that she needs to go and study abroad. The women agree to keep their conversation private, and they decide to keep warm in the cold.
