Irritated by his first kiss with M., the young man confesses to himself that he is in love with the girl. He asks M. if he is upset about the kiss, and M. says that he was pleased that they parted ways. M. then asks if he should buy a necklace for Mika, and he says he will. He then tells M. that he will buy a second one for himself, because he thinks that M. and he are too close to each other. He also says that it is time for them to go back to the bus, and that he has bought a new music box for himself. He says that if he were ugly, he would never have been able to enjoy such a splendid weather. He adds that he knows he kissed M. in the heat, but that does not mean he was not serious about it. He wants M. to take the kiss as a sign from him to her.
