When Ani wakes up, she's worried about what's going on with her mom. She's also worried about her new maid, Heiko, who's just woken up from a nap. Ani asks Heiko to call her by her first name, and she tells him that she'd like to be Ani's friend. He's surprised, but Ani says that they can take it slowly, and they'll become good friends over time. Ani tells Heiko that she wants to be her friend, and he says that he'd be happy to be one too. Ani then asks him to come to her room and wait for her to finish up with him. He tells her that he has been busy with family stuff, and that he doesn't have time to go to school. Ani thinks that maybe he's a little surprised that she asked him to wake him up, and asks if she can go to lunch with him if she needs a pretext. Ani says she'll come, and Ani promises to be there for her.
