The chapter opens with a conversation between Milady and Yulan. Milady tells Yulan that she has heard rumors that a number of young men have been trying to win the heart of one particular girl. Yulan, however, is convinced that Milady will be able to handle the situation. He tells Milady that he has been hanging out with her, and Milady wonders why they are hanging out so close together. She asks Yulan why he is so angry, and he tells her that they are fated to be apart. She tells him that she never heard of Milady's relationship with a saint, and wonders if Milady has been in one before. She says that she was in one, but that she hasn't been in another yet. He asks Milady if it is appropriate for Milady to say that she is in love with Yulan at this time, and she says that it is proper for her to say so. He says that he is not much different than Milady though, as she is escorting ways initiat ate when a woman . He also says that people are staring at him, which is improper, since he is the president of the student council. He explains that he was the first student council president to hold a hand with a boy, and now he is holding hands with another man. He adds that he will kiss Milady right away if she does not leave him alone.
