The narrator tells us that he's come to seal off Orihime from the gods. He's determined to take her back to the "world of the gods" . He says that when a soul is separated from its "main body," it can't continue to exist and eventually disappears. This means that if you're separated from your sister, she's not going to be able to exist either. So, he says, if you want to be with her, you've got to get rid of her. And he'll do it by force. He doesn't know how to do it, but he knows that he can be a good husband and a good father to his sister. He also knows that his sister is a good friend of hers, and he'd like to make sure that she gets along with her family. He tells her that if she wants to be happy, she should marry him. He wants her to take responsibility for her happiness. He asks her to sit down and let him shoot her, but she refuses to do so. She's too attached to her sister's body to want to do anything but be happy. He curses her and tells her to follow through with his curse on her. He swears that he won't let her go if she'll die.
