In this chapter, we learn that Olivia is in a hospital and that she has been unable to communicate with the others because she is afraid of revealing her true identity. Olivia tells us that she used to be a singer, but now that she is unable to speak, she is considered a "weirdo" and no one will come near her because of this fear. This is why Olivia has to catch the murderer and avenge her friend's death
