As the narrator continues to fall in love with akiyoshi, he becomes more anxious. He worries that he will lose his virginity and that his lover will get bored of him. He decides to have a drink party with some of his friends at the editorial department of Tachibana. He tells them that he is worried that they will not like him, and that he does not want to ruin the fun of the other artists at the party.
