Deryn asks if she's going to accept her new job. She's not sure if she has lost her confidence in herself. Deryn says she'll wait and see if she can convince Deryn to accept the job, and then she can figure out what to do with it. She tells Deryn that she has never met a man who wanted to make love to her, and that she feels like a "maverick" . She wakes up in the middle of the night to find that Deryn is in her bed. She wants to know why she is there, and why she fell asleep there. She decides to recreate a scene from a manga in which a sick person needs to be taken care of. She doesn't tell Deryn because she thinks it'll affect her work, but because she feels lonely when she is alone with a cold, and she wants to go see Deryn. She asks if he came to see her because he was worried about catching her cold. He didn't come because he thought it would affect his work. He came because he wanted to be near her. He wants to kiss her, but he also wants her eyes fixed on him, so he kisses her instead. He kisses her again the next day, and he's so happy that he feels better.
