About This Chapter
The witches' ceo kneels before the family's servant, Arthur, and begs him to help them with their plan. Arthur, however, is too proud to kneel before a human being. He is from a lower class than the other witches, and he does not want to be associated with a family that is "fallen noble" . He asks Arthur to help him find a medicine that will help him regain his lost memories. Arthur says that he has heard that there is a magical medicine that can help witches get their lost memories back. He wants Arthur to take the medicine with warm water after a meal, so that he will not be tempted to forget his memories. He says that the herb on Arthur's back looks "fluffy" and that he is on his way to buy a spray to stop his dog from shedding so much. Arthur wonders if the witch who is supporting the family is the same one who supported the Earl of Louis's castle 18 years ago. He wonders if she is the one who supports the family. Arthur replies that he knows who she is, and that she should have replied that she supports their family, but instead she just stayed silent.
