The witch tells the young man that she has fallen in love with him. The young man is grateful for the gift, but he is worried that the witch will find out about it. The witch explains that she is forbidden to harm humans, but that she still dares to interfere with her plans. She tells him that they are going to the city, and that something came up the night before that made it impossible for her to complete her mission. She wonders what will happen to the small animals that live in the city because of the strong wind. She says that she will be back soon, but she is afraid that she may not be able to find him. She asks him to erase all traces of the way they went, and he does so. He tells her that he has messed up her documents this morning, and she apologizes for the mistake. He says that it is his first time receiving flowers from a human, and it is a gift from the witch. He explains that he had to let the man stay in the rainy season because he is not as bad as he first appeared. He also says that he was able to get back into the dark forest because it was very scary, but it took him many years to find the hidden gems. He wonders why the witch hasnt come back yet.
