At the flower shop, the rat clan diplomat tries to convince the witch to trade some of her gold coins for "antidote fruits" . The antidote fruits are poisonous, so the witch has to wait for them to grow before she can use them. The rat tries to kiss the witch on the cheek, but the witch refuses to let him kiss her. She is taking a nap, and the rat wonders why they haven't yet formed a contract with each other. He wonders if he can use the contract to bring prosperity to his rat clan.
