In this chapter, we learn that the protagonist is a thirty-year-old man who works in a clothing store. He has just visited a few stores and has written a "rough development plan" . He wants to know what's going on in the store, so he asks the manager if he can go back and look at the things he's seen. He's noticed that a man who looks like him is in love with the protagonist's "type of long hair" , which is silver hair. The man's girlfriend swipes his photo in her friend's circle every day, which makes the protagonist think that the man is his ex-lover or something. The protagonist doesn't know what to make of this, but he does know that the plan is a good one and that he'll have to fight to make himself white and chubby the next day.
