It's been a while since the last time we saw the protagonist, and now he's back on the job market. He's still in love with his boss, but his boss isn't paying any attention to him. He wants to know if there's anything he can do to make up for the fact that his boss didn't look at him when he was on his best behavior. The protagonist is all, "dude, I've got a crush on your boss, and I'm going to do whatever I can to make it happen." The boss doesn't seem to care, though, and tells the protagonist that he can just go ahead and do whatever he wants with his life.
