About This Chapter
Benson's mother, the policewoman, arrives at the police station. She wants to see her grandson. She asks if he's okay, and if he got hurt. Benson tells her that he did get hurt, and that his father threatened to kill him if he didn't turn down the lawsuit. He also says that he was too hasty to accept them back, and apologizes for everything he did since they reunited. She tells him that they've cleared up all the misunderstandings between them, and asks if they'll get married. He says no, and she tells him to go eat first, and then she'll talk to her grandmother. She says that she doesn't care what happened with her grandson, because she knows that his family is evil. She reminds him of how hard it was for her to raise him on her own, and how hard his father must have had to deal with his illness over the last six years.
