The next morning, the two of them go to the park to watch a game. They're interrupted by the arrival of Hiroshi, who's been hanging out with a guy named Kotani. Hiroshi's a big fan of baseball, and he's gotten tickets to the game, which makes him even more of a fan of Kotani's. The two chat for a bit, and Hiroshi tells them that he thinks it's OK to have a romantic relationship with someone who is the same sex as you. He's surprised that they're talking about such things, because he assumed that they were just friends. He says he'd shake his head if he were really in love with someone like that, but Hiroshi doesn't seem to be having any of that.
