In this chapter, we learn that the master of the magic academy, Zhanggong, has betrayed the people of the Aisha kingdom and offered his services to the clan of demon-creatures. The master asks for a hat to wear in the city, but the hat doesn't fit him very well. He tells the master that he was once a student at the academy, and that he missed a girl, but that love is the most important thing in the world. He asks the master to exchange some money for some gems, and the master agrees to sell a high-grade amethyst to the master for at least two thousand diamond coins. He then divides the money between the master and the elder, who will then distribute it to the rest of the villagers.
