In this chapter, we learn that the leader of the second battalion has been unable to defeat the first battalion. He has even used up his magic powers. He tells the leader to stand still and watch the battle unfold. The leader tells him that he is the best archer he has ever faced and that if there is a chance, he hopes that he will join his second battalion.
