In this chapter, we learn that the teacher of the school is a half-elf named Zhan-Hui. He is a good looking man, and he is complimented on his appearance by the other students. The teacher tells him to hurry up and get some food, because the old man is starving him to death. The elf says that he will stay with the teacher for a year, and that he is curious about the length of a genius's life. He learns from the teacher that the two of them are "light knights" and that the other is a mainland "knight" like him. He also learns that the archery skill that Dongri has is an ancestral skill in the elf clan, and the teacher says that if Dongri learns magic, he will be even stronger than before. He tells the elf that he and Dongri have agreed to train each other in martial arts as well, in exchange for the other's help. He says that the first day, the teacher asked him to train Dongri in physical training, and since he has no choice, he has to train him in the same way.
