The chapter opens with a description of a young boy who has grown up in the village. He is now 9 and half years old. He has gained a height of about 1.52 meters, and his weight has also grown. The boy explains that he has learned many of the magics of the teacher. He says that he can protect himself against poisonous gas, low level dark magic, and divine guard. On the way home, he feels that something is wrong. He thinks that the village is a demonic beast, and he decides to fight on his own.
