In this chapter, we learn that Dongri has not seen his teacher in a long time, and that he has lost some weight. He then tells us about a girl named Hongxue whom he has known since he took Dongri to a royal banquet one time. She is the daughter of the emperor's sister, and since that time, she has always been in love with him. Dongri is ashamed of himself for falling in love at such a young age, and he decides to take a break from the competition.
