The narrator calls on Hayato and asks him what his favorite job is. Hayato replies that he's working on a novel. The narrator asks if Hayato is still holding himself back. He's already 20, so he doesn't have to hold himself back anymore. He tells Hayato that he can do whatever he wants with his life now. He says he'll give Hayato a little credit for letting his feelings out. He asks if she's still holding herself back. She says she is. She wants to know what Hayato's new job is like. He shows her his new office, which is ready for her to use. She tells him that she was supposed to be with him, but now she wants to spend time with him alone. She asks him to kiss her on the lips, but he won't.
