In this short scene, the two young lovers discuss the events of the previous day. The young lovers are in the middle of a conversation when they are interrupted by the voice of the president of the company. The president tells the young lovers that the company has already had ten of its employees resign, and that they will soon have to do so as well. He tells them that they need to control the public narrative for the sake of "going away for good" or else the company will never be free to find the murderer. The two young men decide to return to the room where the murder took place.
