The next morning, the two men are in the middle of a conversation. They're talking about the previous day's events, and the men are discussing whether or not they're going to go to the opera together. The men decide that it's best if they stay in the hotel room and watch the opera, since it'll be more comfortable for them to be alone together. When the opera starts to play, the men realize that they'll have to leave the hotel and go back to the apartment. They decide to stay and watch it, since they don't want to upset the women in the opera house.
