In this chapter, we learn that we are still legally married, which means that we can't be separated. We also learn that the two of them have been married for a long time, so it's natural that they'd want to see each other. They're both getting ready to go to bed, so they come to see the doctor. The doctor tells them that the baby is fine, but the baby hasn't asked how he's doing. The baby's fine, the doctor says, but he doesn't even ask how he is. He tells her that his uncle is out of town, so she should go to the office and tell him what's going on. She tells the doctor that she has something to do in the office, and she'll go and take care of her mom. She'll come back and tell the doctor what happened, and the doctor will be able to figure out what happened to his mom.
