The next morning, Guppy is in the middle of a rush hour traffic jam. He's late for his first meeting with Guppy's boss, and he's worried that he'll make a bad first impression on Guppy if he doesn't show up on time. He asks Guppy to take him out for dinner, and Guppy agrees. Guppy thanks Guppy for taking him out to dinner, then asks him to give him his phone number so that he can call when he gets back to work. He tells Guppy that he just saw him saving someone from a road-rage incident, and that's why he was so late. He thanks him for saving someone's life, too, and says that his pieces are sold out in department stores all over the world. He says that he didn't think Guppy would pay attention to anyone like him, but now that they've gotten to know each other, they're both very fond of each other. He invites Guppy out for a dinner party, and they both agree that their next dinner party is on them.
