Ming also says that he and Ching-Mei had received a similar threatening phone call, instructing them to kill him and his wife. Ming says that if they let the family go, they would still be threats to him and the baby. The next day, the newspaper reports that the family has been arrested for corruption. The family is rich, Ming says, and he wonders how long it will take the family to get rid of the mayor. He has started a Kickstarter campaign to kill Ming, and Ming says he will not leave the city.
