The next morning, Lin wakes up and tells us that she's heard that Lin's dad went to the hotel where they were staying. Lin says that he's gotten rid of all of the evidence that led up to that day, and that if they found out, they'd still be standing around like nothing happened. Lin wants to know what's wrong with her family. She asks Lin to help her get her hands on some medicine, and Lin tells her that he got her a present for her. Lin asks where they are, and she tells him that they've all grown up. Lin is sorry, but she can't keep watch over her anymore. Lin tells Lin that she has a dream that her mom left her for a faraway place. Lin thinks that's crazy, but Lin reassures her that she will always be there for her, and they'll have their baby in her belly, too.
