About This Chapter
In this short scene, Hirohito explains to his wife that he is going to send a letter to his father-in-law regarding his inheritance. He tells her that he has been waiting for her for a long time and that she is killing him by giving him all of her wealth without asking him for it. He is very happy to see that she and Hirohio are in love and that they have been trying to get married. He says that if he were to live to see his grandson, he would live forever. He wants to know when they will get married or have a marriage certificate like his uncle. He asks if they are in a hurry and says that they are not. He adds that if they do get married, it will not make much difference whether they are married or not because they do not want to start a family
