The scene opens with a conversation between a young man and his wife. The young man introduces himself as "Miu Xiruo" and asks his wife if she would like to meet him at one of his concerts. She replies that she would, and the young man asks her why she can't marry someone else. She tells him that her husband treats her differently than the other men in the city, and she asks him to apologize for his treatment of her. He tells her that he was always a friend to her, and he apologizes if he misunderstood what she was saying. He asks her to show him some respect, but she says that she is not defending her, but defending her husband. She asks him if he has ever been in a relationship with his wife, and when he says that he has, he asks her if she has ever said anything out of the ordinary. He then asks her what she wants, and her answer is that she wants him to tell her what he did to her. When he asks what her husband did, she replies that he didn't do anything big, and that he visited his mother and her father a lot when he was a kid
